وإنما قدرت الكف موضوعة على الكف حتى تصير الأصابع كأشخاص في حلقة ليظهر ترتيبها، وتقدير ذلك أولى من تقدير وضع الكف على ظهر الكف أو وضع ظهر الكف على ظهر الكف، فإن ذلك لا يقتضيه الطبع. وأما أصابع الرجل فالأولى عندي إن لم يثبت فيها نقل أن يبدأ بخنصر اليمنى ويختم بخنصر اليسرى كما في التخليل، فإن المعاني التي ذكرها في اليد لا تتجه ههنا، إذ لا مسبحة في الرجل، وهذه الأصابع في حكم صف واحد ثابت على الأرض، فيبدأ من جانب اليمنى، فإن تقديرها حلقة بوضع الأخمص على الأخمص يأباه الطبع بخلاف اليدين، انتهى۔

وقد قال صاحب الإقليد: قضية الأخذ في ذلك بالتيامن أن يبدأ بخنصر اليمنى إلى أن ينتهي إلى خنصر اليسرى في اليدين والرجلين معا، وكأنه لحظ أن القص يقع من باطن الكفين أيضا. وذكر الدمياطي أنه تلقى عن بعض المشايخ أن من قص أظفاره مخالفا لم يصبه رمد، وأنه جرب ذلك مدة طويلة. وقد نص أحمد على استحباب قصها مخالفا، وبين ذلك أبو عبد الله بن بطة من أصحابهم فقال: يبدأ بخنصره اليمنى ثم الوسطى ثم الإبهام ثم البنصر ثم السبابة، ويبدأ بإبهام اليسرى على العكس من اليمنى. وقد أنكر ابن دقيق العيد الهيئة التي ذكرها الغزالي ومن تبعه وقال: كل ذلك لا أصل له وإحداث استحباب لا دليل عليه، وهو قبيح عندي بالعالم، ولو تخيل متخيل أن البداءة بمسبحة اليمنى من أجل شرفها، فبقية الهيئة لا يتخيل فيه ذلك، نعم البداءة بيمنى اليدين ويمنى الرجلين له أصل، وهو كان يعجبه التيامن، اهـ ولم يثبت أيضا في استحباب قص الظفر يوم الخميس حديث، وقد أخرجه جعفر المستغفري بسند مجهول، ورويناه في مسلسلات التيمي من طريقه، وأقرب ما وقفت عليه في ذلك ما أخرجه البيهقي من مرسل أبي جعفر الباقر قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يستحب أن يأخذ من أظفاره وشاربه يوم الجمعة، وله شاهد موصول عن أبي هريرة، لكن سنده ضعيف، أخرجه البيهقي أيضا في الشعب، وسئل أحمد عنه فقال: يسن في يوم الجمعة قبل الزوال، وعنه يوم الخميس، وعنه يتخير، وهذا هو المعتمد أنه يستحب كيف ما احتاج إليه. ثم قال ابن حجر بعد أسطر: لكن لا يمنع من التفقد يوم الجمعة فإن المبالغة في التنظف فيه مشروع، انتهى۔
